Important definition

Clean energy is not the same as non-fossil energy

The consumption mix describes primary and transformed energy consumed across the economy. NBS clean energy includes natural gas, hydropower, nuclear, wind and solar.

Why shares differ

Installed capacity, electricity generation and total energy consumption are different denominators and should not be combined into one share.

Energy intensity

Energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP fell 5.1% after excluding energy used as raw materials and non-fossil energy consumption.
