Tell us when a number needs a second look.

We read messages about broken source links, unclear definitions, suggested indicators and factual corrections.

How to reach us

Email is the primary contact channel for China in Figures. Please use a clear subject line such as “Source link”, “Definition question” or “Correction”.

Include the page URL, the figure you are asking about, the year/unit if relevant, and a link to the official release when you have one. That helps us verify faster.

What we can help with

Data corrections and outdated source URLs.

Questions about definitions, administrative boundaries and why two figures are not comparable.

Suggestions for new indicators or cities, with an official source if possible.

Press or research questions about how a chart or comparison was constructed.

What we cannot do

We cannot provide personalised investment, legal or immigration advice.

We cannot alter an official statistical definition on behalf of a government publisher.

We may not reply to spam, abusive messages or requests that ask us to hide inconvenient data.

Response time

This is a small editorial project. We aim to acknowledge substantive messages when we can, especially when they include a verifiable source. Complex registry changes may take longer than a simple link fix.
