Each year uses the China total and United States count reported in Fortune China's introduction to that edition. The list year is the publication year and generally reflects companies' prior fiscal-year revenue.
Do not mix
“China total” is not the same as the narrower “mainland China including Hong Kong” subtotal. This page consistently uses the former and includes Taiwan region.
